Can’t find the perfect gift? Let’s make it!
Welcome to our small fabrication studio, or mini-Fab. We make interesting things for interesting people, just like you. Here in our shop, we consider the products that we create to be our own personal pet-projects. These are the things we think are pretty cool and we hope that you will like them too. Our personalized products are mostly small and unique conversation pieces that will make you the envy of all your friends – If you’re not already. In which case, our wares will make a great personalized gift for that person that seems to have everything.
At heart, our mini-Fab is rooted in its tradition as a classic woodshop. Most of our items are completely handmade in Texas using traditional woodworking techniques as well as cutting-edge digital fabrication. We have a shop full of conventional tools along with a laser cutter, CNC router/mill, and a 3-D printer to help make your project. Our products are typically made out of wood, leather, cork, acrylic, and aluminum, but that doesn't stop us from experimenting with other stuff. We try to locally source materials that are eco-friendly and sustainable, whenever possible, and try to put every last scrap to good use in order to minimize waste. Some of our natural wood stains are made in our shop using household items such as vinegar, steel wool, hydrogen peroxide, copper, walnuts, and tea.
Our products are very customizable and can be personalized with a name, initials, monogram, logo, or just about whatever strikes your fancy. We try our best to accommodate most requests. Don't see what you're looking for or need help customizing one of our products? Let us know. We're happy to help.
Our payment system is powered by Paypal and Stripe for a safe and secure purchasing experience. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and will accept returns within 14 days for a no-questions-asked-refund. Please see our Returns page for more info.

"I like to design unique pieces with a vintage aesthetic and the feel of
something I would want in my own life. Hopefully, it will come across
as something special and original that is made with care."
I am a maker and apparently have been one all of my life. When I opened my shop, it was really a way for me to parlay a life-long habit of making stuff into a little business that I could really get excited about and channel some creativity. Little did I know that the real rush would be from the high-fives and inspiration from the good people in the maker movement and those that appreciate it. This has been life-changing for me and I am very grateful for it and all the amazing customers that entrust me to make things for the special people in their lives. It is so humbling and I am truly honored to help.
It just so happens that I am also very lucky to have a beautiful and supportive wife, two beautiful daughters, and a husky who is also beautiful. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to transition into enjoying my day making things in my shop listening to jazz records while savoring the smell of freshly-cut hardwoods.
My design approach is pretty simple. I try to make cool art that is practical and can be useful in someone's life. I like genuine and authentic things with a hint of vintage nostalgia.
I really do get a kick out of making these things in my shop. They are all my personal pet projects and I hope that we can collaborate and make something together soon.
